Just My Type

I managed to use a whole bunch of challenges for my hubby's birthday card. And while typewriters really aren't "him", he still liked this one with it's masculine, clean lines and his favorite colors.

I used Mojo Monday
for the sketch, Hand Stamped Sentiments for the color-blocking challenge (the spritzed columns on newsprint), Utah Divas color challenge and SUO's Happy Birthday theme... phew!

And here are the challenge images...

  1. oooooh, love the blue, green and gray! A snazzy man card indeed, great job with the color blocking technique...your card is 'just my type'! :) Thanks for playing along this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments!

  2. I LOVE your take on the color blocking!! GREAT JOB!!! I'm sure your hubby LOVED his card!! Thank you for participating this week with HSS!!! Amy L.

  3. First of all, great job incorporating the three challenges. I like your choice of stamps and the way that you color blocked the DSP. Thank you for joining us at HSS.

  4. Your color blocking for the sketch is a great idea. Wonderful card. So glad you joined us at SUO Challenges!

  5. Unique take on the challenge:-) Very cute and I love the color combo! Thanks for playing at HSS!

  6. Your color blocking looks cool! It looks like stamps, but also sprinkled. How did you do it? Thanks for joining SUO Challenges this week.

    1. Thanks so much :) I cut out a rectangle window the width I needed, and used my color spritzer to fill each block in. It was a fun experiment!
