And here is the great sketch and the photo with endless elements of inspiration:
Although I do have a craft room, most of my stuff is done at my coffee table, while I watch TV once my kids (and often my hubby) are in bed. I'm a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, and am here to create, share and inspire... I hope you see things you like! I'm always trying new things and trying to improve my creative process. Pretty Party
I started out with the Creating Pretty Cards sketch and the Stampin' Royals inspiration photo, with the full intention of making a boy's birthday card, with brightly patterned pennants and boy friendly elements.... I ended up having to give him a card from my pre-made stash instead, because as I got into the design for this card, each aspect made it more and more feminine, until the point where I just gave in and started making the flowers I was so itching to add. It may not be at all what I intended, but it's one of my favorite cards overall! Happy Accidents (which is also a fabulous movie I saw recently... you should watch it too!)

This turned out really cute! I don't think I could have resisted adding the flowers either. Such a cheerful card! I love the pennants. Thanks so much for playing along with the Creating Pretty Cards Sketch Challenge over at Craft Project Central.
ReplyDeleteLove the layout of this card and the way you used the inspiration picture! Thanks for playing this weeks Stampin' Royalty Challenge!
